According to papers obtained by TMZ, The Dream filed for the big D only nine days before she gave birth to their daughter. The documents claim the marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
He also claimed, "There is no hope for reconciliation."
Ugh, good riddance! Christina is so adorable and talented, and we hope she finds a man who recognizes that! Obviously he never cared for her that much if he’s already romping around the Caribbean with a new girl!
We wish Christina and her baby girl the best.

The Dream claims that they've had problems since last year while Christina's close friends claim she was completely in the dark about the split. She kept her wedding ring on and often tweeted about her hubby, so the photos of him frolicking on a beach with his assistant came as a complete shock.
The Dream is hoping to gain some public sympathy with a new blog, but we call bullshit on this one. Here's what he had to say in his blog:
“First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose!
“I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.
“I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing. Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!
“I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life. Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I. I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE! I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself. My faults are I can be irresponsible and an ass sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child. I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!
“This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people! I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.
“But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not ‘Superman’ and its okay to lose sometimes…
“This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!

According to Us Magazine, the cameras snapped photos of him frolicking in the Caribbean with his assistant Melissa Santiago.
The R&B star married Christina Milian just last September, and she had their daughter Violet five months ago. Christina was nowhere to be found in the pics over the weekend.
And these aren’t just any photos—one portrays Santiago straddling The Dream with her arms wrapped around his neck. He’s also not wearing his wedding band.

Christina was in labor with Violet for over 19 hours before finally giving birth via C-Section on Feb. 26th.
"She’s got a lot of personality!" Milian, 28, tells Us Weekly of Violet. "She laughs a lot!"
"I’m surprised how hungry she is," Milian added. "Like, how do I keep up?"
Milian gained almost 50 lbs during her pregnancy, but has already lost 27 of it! How great is that? "I've been eating salads and fruit like crazy," she added.
Make sure to grab a copy of the new Us Weekly for more adorable pics of little Violet. Congrats to the happy couple!

There are very few details about the birth so far but a friend confirmed to People magazine that the baby has "a full head of hair."
Earlier this week The Dream, real name Terius Nash, gushed about the arrival of Violet saying, "The baby will be here Sunday, no later than Sunday!
"The baby already has a car, I got a house just for the baby — Christina can't get in the baby's car. I'm giving all my attention that I usually give to Christina to the baby, all the flowers I usually give Christina, I'm giving them to the baby."
While it's cute how excited he is, we hope he'll still pay a little bit of attention to the mother of his child. Congrats to the happy couple!

Milian just tied the knot to producer The-Dream in a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas last weekend, so they have more than one thing to celebrate!
"The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless," a source tells Us Weekly.
The Dream proposed to Milian with a six-carat $200,000 ring back in July and two months later they're already married and expecting a baby. Talk about moving fast!
They got hitched at the Little White Wedding Chapel, made famous by Britney's quickie marriage back in 2004, last weekend in a quickie ceremony.
The ceremony seemed very last minute because the bride wore a rented wedding dress for $200, which included the shoes and veil, and The Dream rented his tux for $100, which including shoes, tie and vest.
Either way, congrats to the happy couple!

According to TMZ, the couple wed at the Little White Wedding Chapel, made famous by Britney's quickie marriage back in 2004, at exactly 12:00AM Friday morning.
The blushing bride wore a rented wedding dress for $200, which included the shoes and veil, and The Dream rented his tux for $100, which including shoes, tie and vest.
Match made in heaven if you ask us! The couple applied for a marriage license last month so the quickie wedding really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
Do you think the couple will last? What do you think about their quickie marriage?

Hollyscoop talked exclusively with some celebrities on the red carpet of the 22nd Annual ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards to hear their reaction to Michael’s untimely death.
R&B singer Melody Thornton expressed her deep sorrow after hearing the news. She told Hollyscoop exclusively, “I had a pretty crazy reaction. I had to get picked up by our manager and taken home and couldn't drive.... Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey are my 2 favorite artists if all time. It's been hard, it's been tough.”
Though Melody never got the honor of meeting MJ, his music had a huge affect on her. She told us, “He is music.....that's what I remember...from the very beginning. He just represents such an amazing performer and when you think about all the things he did, choreographer, dancer, singer, producer...everything he did... You know songwriter...and then he just took off....because he applied himself...We worry about everybody's personal lives and we talk about musicians or entertainers in general...and he really gave his life.”
R&B singer Shanice was also at the event and told Hollyscoop it was because of Michael she was there. She said, “Part of the reason I came here tonight is because I had to get out of the house. I've been home crying, I've been a mess ever since I heard the news. I actually got to work with Michael, He did a song called Keep the Faith years ago and I sang background on it, so I got to work with him. He's such a warm great spirit. He was such a good person I would get so angry when people would say bad things about him.”
As for hit maker Ne-Yo, he told Hollyscoop exclusively that he’d been busy working on material with the King of Pop before he died. He said, “I mean I would have loved to see the album come out. I would have loved to finish that, but I feel that Michael Jackson has done enough music to basically live forever. He's an immortal human being. I was just happy to get the opportunity to work with him even for a second.”
Newly engaged The Dream and Christina Milian showed up on the red carpet, and each shared how Michael’s death has affected them personally.
The Dream told us, “Michael Jackson's departure from us has affected my whole family. We know what he meant and we know how many barriers he broke....you know...black or white didn't matter with him. I think he made believers out of a lot of people no matter what color you were, that no matter what small of a place you come from, no matter how small of a person you are that you can be as big as you need to be.
"He was just such a huge star and I don't think he could be replaced. I just came off tour with Keyshia Cole and the funny thing was I was doing a rendition of Dirty Diana on my set...so it's weird I just came off tour like a week ago and this happened.”
Christina told Hollyscoop of her reaction, saying, “I was saddened. I'm a huge fan of his like everybody else in the world. His legend will live on forever. I was hoping that some day my future children will be able to experience what I have by watching him growing up, but I definitely will bring his music on the way it's been passed on by my parent and their parents before Michael Jackson.”
Finally, Hollyscoop caught up with Australian Motown band Human Nature, who toured with Michael in Europe. They said, “We had an unbelievable opportunity to tour with him for our 50 shows so we've been huge fans of Michael so it's terrible that we lost him. We share a name with one of his songs. We didn't name ourself after the song, but we find ourselves singing it every now and then.”
They added: “We learned so much from him about how to put on a great show.”
We asked each of the stars what their favorite Michael Jackson song is, and here’s what each of them had to say.
Melody Thornton: “Billy Jean because he performed it on the AMA's and even when I listen to it I'm just in the car I know where the screams are and that performance he just came alive for me...he'd always been..but that's my favorite song and moment as well.”
Shanice: “Rock With You, Human Nature, Off the Wall, Thriller, Beat It. All of them pretty much.”
Ne-Yo: “Lady in My Life.”
The Dream: “Oh yeah I remember listening to Beat it while I was getting a whoopin... my momma was beating me...like literally...not in a bad way…I'm sure I was doing something that needed it...”
Christina Milian: “Beat it...I love th

Before Nick made headlines for marrying Mariah Carey, he dated Christina for three years. And while it's always hard seeing an ex move on, Christina had nothing but good things to say about her former beau.
"I do have well wishes for him and I'm really happy for him cause honestly I feel he is in a good place and this is where he is always," Christina told Hollyscoop at KIIS Fm’s Jingle Ball concert on Saturday. "He wants to be as far and married and happy and all that stuff.”
In regards to Nick and Mariah having kids soon, Christina told Hollyscoop: “As far as maturity, I don't know if he is having kids. I've heard stuff and I know he wants to have kids so I'm sure they are gonna get started, Haha.”
Luckily their bad breakup is in the past and Christina has since moved on. Christina's new love interest is a Hip Hop producer from Miami who’s worked with The Game, Lil Wayne, and Ja Rule among others. “I've been seeing someone for three years. His name is Dre and he is a music producer... He's cool," she told Hollyscoop.
At the time while Christina stayed mum about their breakup and the details involved, Nick was happy to talk about their relationship to the press saying, "Most dudes don't want to be in relationships--bottom line. Our testosterone wont let us to just buckle down and be like, 'Alright I want to be in a relationship.'" Nick has certainly changed his tune in the last year!
