People’s names, the National Anthem…Christina Aguilera isn't great at remembering things.
On last night’s episode of ‘The Voice,’ before Tony Vincent was booted, Christina rudely pretended to forget his name.
“Tony, right? That's your name, Tony?"
Backstage at 'The Voice's elimination night, Tony talked to Hollyscoop about Christina’s reputation for being less-than-pleasant.
“For the last 48 hours she’s been pretty negative towards a lot of the contestants!” Tony told Hollyscoop. “The fact that she questioned my name was kind of off-putting.”
Christina often appears to be nasty on camera, and Tony says she’s not just playing it up--she really is rude.
“Some comments that she made in yesterday’s show [were], I think, outright rude and uncalled for. And not just not constructive,” Tony told Hollyscoop. “It just seemed a little out of place.”
Tony adds that “some of [Christina's] true colors came out last night.”
“I don’t know her well enough to say if that’s true or not,” Tony told Hollyscoop. “But, I don’t know if something is going on with her personally, but I think she brought it in to the theater tonight and she probably should’ve left it at the door!”
Despite having to put up with the rudeness, Tony says he won’t hold a grudge.
“I don’t have time to hold a grudge. I have way too many joyful things going on in my life to really give that comment a second thought.”
Among those joyful things is his new baby. His wife gave birth to a girl, Sadie, less than a week ago.
