Singer Christina Aguilera is making her move into the world of television. The pop star is in talks to guest star in one of our favorite crime drama shows CSI: New York.

According to the executive producer Anthony Zulker, “Christina’s a fan of the show and we’re excited to have her. The episode will probably explore the topic of battered women.”

Although the star isn't expected to play herself, we hear her music will be featured in the episode. This will be the first time Christina is taking on an acting gig so we hope the transition will be smooth unlike some other pop stars.
