Christina Defends Her Partying Lifestyle

Christina Aguilera has been a regular at Hollywood Hotspots since she gave birth to her son Max back in January. She's been getting some heat for partying instead of being at home with her newborn, but Xtina is defending herself, claiming, "I spend all day with my son."

"Once in a while, if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that," Aguilera told Access Hollywood.

Ya once in a while is fine, but when we see pictures of her being carried out of Villa because she had too much to drink on a weekly basis, that’s a problem! Christina goes party hopping at least 3-4 times a week. What are your thoughts? Do you guys think that's too much partying for a new mother?

shell and denny... christina didn't shave her head nor flashed her pu&&y for the paparazzi unlike britney. so there's a BIG difference there. and besides, i think this is the only pix i see covering her and her supposedly drunken night out.

Well you never see her out all hours of the day without the baby so obviously she is taking care of him during the day and having her own time during the night, there is no problem with that. I think she looks like an amazing mother and you can tell how much she loves her baby and she would never put her baby in anyway of an abusive life whether that is physical or mental...she is smarter and more loving than that

I've never thought she looked like she cared about her son anyways. if she didnt want her personal life splashed everywhere then she shouldnt have become a singer. i cant stand her, and yeah britney got loads of stick why shouldnt christina. she's never seen with her son anyways. Probably always dumping him on someone else. Sorry but thats my opinions and i have a 1 year old daughter and I hardly ever go out and if i do its for an hour or two.

So Linda and Jason I'm assuming neither of you are parent and don't know the feeling of needing a night out - or you are a parent and you haven't been drunk since then (right...) Just because you have a child doesn't mean you can't drunk. I guess life completely stops when you have a child...I must have missed the memo... And just an FYI, I believe this is the same picture of Christina being taken out of the club from a few weeks/months ago. This isn't a recent picture. Who knows if the story is even true! Either way, more power to her! And not that Madonna and Angelina aren't good parents, but they seem to be very selfish people, despite the fact that they have children or adopted children. I could adopt 10 kids and still be an awful parent. Angelina is too busy counting how many kids she can have and Madonna would rather her children live in a shell (not being able to see their raunchy mother dance on TV...) than have a normal childhood. Let's face it - no parent is perfect. Myself included. Everyone has a different way of raising their child - and having an alcoholic beverage (she is legal people!) and being a parent is NOT crime!

Yeah, right, Madonna or Jolie-Pitt. Righhhhhhhhht. They have nannies all day and tote their kids all over the frickin' place. Their kids have no chance to bond with other children and know what it's like to have extended family around them---how healthy is THAT? I am NOT a Xtina fan, but at least she is with her kd during the day and stays in ONE place!

Linda and I will make great parents (if she ever returned my call). Christina shouldn't have gotten filled with man-yogurt if she didn't want to stop partying and be a good mom. Let Jolie or that hag Madonna adopt the kid if you're not ready to step up.

Melissa, it's about responsibility. How responsible are you if you have to be carried out of a club because you're too wasted to walk? This seems to be a common occurrence with her.

Oh, for crying out loud! The kid is asleep when she is out anyway! Let her and her husband work on their marriage and have some fun. It's hard enough staying together as a celebrity couple. She probably spends more time with her kid during the day than any of us!

I think she should be aloud to go out. all the critics that are trying to cause drama needs to go fuck themselves. Christina aguilera is a grown women and can make her own decsions. I no she is a good mother and there is no problem with her going out a couple times a week. so just leave her alone.

Christina hasn't been party hopping 3 to 4 times every week since Max was born. She might of hit the clubs one week 3 times but you don't know if she wasn't talking business since she's working on a new album. They do business meetings at clubs. She also has the right to have that mommy/daddy night out. I'm sure her baby is well taken care of.

As a mother myself, I know that it is important to take time for yourself - especially when you are home all day taking care of a child. In Christina's case, she is a celebrity and I'm sure she sees the opportunity not only as a time to get away, but also a time to present herself to the public and stay in the limelight. I don't think being helped out of a club deems her a bad mother/person. So because she's a mother she can't get drunk? I could see this being a problem if she was drunk WITH the baby, but there is nothing wrong with going out. As long as she is capable of taking care of her child, so be it!
