Christina Aguilera Making Her Film Debut

Christina Aguilera is set to star in her first film, and the title couldn’t be more suited for her.

The film is called Burlesque, about an ambitious small-town girl with an amazing voice who finds success and love at an LA burlesque club. Talk about HOT!

Wonder if the Lady Marmalade music video influenced this film at all…The film is being directed by Steve Antin, the brother of Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin.

Producer from Screen Gems Clint Culpepper says, “I couldn’t be more excited, as this was a project written with her in mind.”

It’s unknown at this time whether Xtina will be contributing any of her own music to the film. But we can’t imagine she wouldn’t! She’s a busy girl these days! Christina’s next album is expected to drop this summer, followed by a tour, and then shooting the movie.
