All we have to say is thank God Christie Brinkley is divorcing Peter Cook. The public trial began today, and Petey did more than just have an affair while married to Christie. His laundry was hung out to dry today, while he broke down on the stand.
Here's what Peter Cook admitted to doing during his marriage to Christie:
• He spent $3000 a month on Internet porn.
• He had an affair with his 18-year-old assistant Diana Bianchi for less than a year.
• He paid her $300,000 after the affair ended to keep quiet.
• He gave her money during the affair, usually hiding the cash in
specific places in his office for her, and put a $15K deposit down on a
brand new car for her.
After taking the stand, Cook's lawyer said this about Christie: "For
goodness sake: She's on her fourth husband. Your honor, we're here because of the self-indulgent wrath of a woman scorned."
The two are currently fighting for sole custody of their two children,
Sailor and Jack. Wonder who's going to win this one?
