Sad news for Christie Brinkley, the Long Island judge assigned to her restraining order case denied her request.

Brinkley's lawyer, Robert Stephan Cohen, issued the following statement on the judge's ruling: "The court order mandates that since Peter Cook has the children this weekend, his parenting has to be away from his home and he can't expose them to the 20/20 broadcast. Christie Brinkley's sole concern is to protect her children."

Everyone was a little shocked when Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook settled their divorce in just one week.

Obviously there was so much evidence against Cook, it was inevitable that Christie would get what she asked for in the settlement. But apparently the turning point of the case was when private detectives Christie hired were about to present their case.

Whoa...that was quick! After just one week, the nasty divorce trial of Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook has come to a sudden end.

Both parties reportedly reached a settlement Thursday morning at 6:15 a.m. Although the details of the settlement haven't been released yet, the NY Post is reporting that Christie will get full custody, while Cook will get their kids, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10, every Wednesday and alternating weekends, plus alternating weeks during the summer.
