First Charlie, now Chris Brown. Chris' longtime publicist Tammy Brook will no longer represent him after the whole GMA mess.
According to the New York Post, "Tammy Brook, will no longer be representing him after the star trashed his GMA dressing room, smashed a window and left without his shirt from the morning talk show earlier this week." I certainly don't blame her!
Chris apologized for going psycho on GMA, but then blamed ABC. "First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the (ABC) office, or anybody who was offended "... and disappointed at my actions," Brown said.
But then claimed that Robin Roberts went beyond the "talking points" that they had discussed. How do you go "beyond talking points?" Robin asked if she can bring up the Rihanna incident and Chris said sure. That's it. And that's what happened.
I bet Chris thought if he stirred up some drama it would help with album sales--and it did! But he lost his publicist and some fans along the way.
Were you surprised by Chris' actions lately? Or was it a long time coming?
UPDATED: Tammy didn't quit. It was a mutual decision.
"I am an entertainment/music publicist and was hired as a publicist, as they often are, to work specifically on his music publicity for the term up to the release of Chris Brown's F.A.M.E. album, which was released on Tuesday March 22 and is entering the Billboard and iTunes charts at number 1 this week."
She adds, "I love and support Chris and it has been an honor to be a part of this album and I look forward to the possibility of working with him again in the future."
