Chris Brown's Explosion a Probation Violation?

Conflicting reports are surfacing over whether ABC decided to call the police after Chris Brown smashed a window Tuesday morning.

TMZ has audio from the incident, in which a staffer says, "I have a police officer coming just to take a look at it before we do any work."

If the police are involved, Brown could possibly face a violation of his probation, which he's currently on after his 2009 felony assault conviction.

Translate: He’d be screwed. But a source close to Brown tells RadarOnline.com, “The police weren't called, and unless ABC decides to call the NYPD, no action will be taken against Brown, who is still on probation.”

The source continues that no one saw Chris break the window. One thing we all saw, however, was the shirtless aftermath of his rageaholic outburst. There’s no denying that. The source continues, “It would be a different scenario if the cops were called, which would prompt Brown's probation officer to become involved. If that did occur, Brown's probation officer would then notify the court, and the DA.”

Enter Twitter: "the media is just trying to bring you down... DONT LET THEM!!!!!"

Thanks for the advice, Brown. I was totally unaware of the fact that the media was trying to bring me down. I shan’t let them. The CAPS and excessive exclamation points don’t exactly say, “I’ve learned a lot from my counseling and have remorse for my bouts of anger.”

Did he mention he has an album coming out?
