Looks like
Chris Brown will be attending more
anger management classes then he expected because his March 5 court date is likely to be postponed.
The DA's office says investigators may need more time to gather up evidence and may not make it by the March 5th deadline.
A statement from Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison reads, "We don’t have the evidence yet. (Los Angeles police detectives) are still investigating.
"If (detectives) determine they need more time they’ll set a new date for him (Brown) to come into court.
"He only has to come back if and when we file charges."
Chris was arrested and released on $50,000 bail earlier this month after he allegedly attacked his girlfriend
Rihanna following the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.
While some media outlets are reporting that Rihanna is currently in her native Barbados, the New York Daily News claims she's enjoying some much needed time off in a private beachside villa in Punta Mita, Mexico.
Chris Brown is still in hiding.
