We know what you’re thinking—the same question mankind’s greatest thinkers like Plato and Aristotle and Judge Judy have been contemplating for centuries: Is there no justice in the world?

America’s most dangerous Rottweiler Chris Brown, jailed this past Sunday for punching a man in the face and breaking his nose, found himself in some seriously hot legal waters—we’re talking a felony assault charge with possible prison time—but he managed to somehow catch another break. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor.

After appearing before the magistrate on Monday in D.C., Chris’ ordered drug test was also canceled. He was then released without bail, but required to stay 100 yards away from the victim.

According to obtained witness statements by TMZ, the accounts of the confrontation differ. The victim says Chris punched him, followed by a hit from one of his bodyguards. Chris denies punching him altogether, saying he was on his tour bus at the time.
