Chris Brown has kept mum for the most part regarding the incident with
Rihanna back in February. His lawyer had advised him not to speak about the subject matter publicly, and Chris followed his orders.
But a brand new video has just been released today featuring a very apologetic Brown, who wants his fans to know, once and for all, how sorry he is for everything.
In the video, he says, “I wish I had the opportunity to live those few moments again, but unfortunately I can’t. I cannot go into what happened, and most importantly I’m going to sit here and make any excuses.”
He continued, “I am very sad and very ashamed at what I’ve done. My mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that.”
Chris also says that he has spoken with Rihanna about the incident, and has offered his apologies. He says in the video, “I have told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today that I am truly truly sorry and that I wasn’t able to handle the situation both differently and better.”
We can’t tell if Chris is being genuine, and really is heartbroken over the alleged attack, or if he’s trying to drum up some publicity for his upcoming album. You be the judge. Watch the video below...
