Chris Brown hasn’t had a girlfriend since last February. But that doesn’t mean he’s ready to jump back into the dating scene quite yet.
The singer spoke with MTV about his single status, and what he’s focusing on right now. He said, "My whole dating thing, I've been kinda chillin'.”
But despite the horrible things he did to Rihanna, Chris doesn’t think it has hurt his game that much when it comes to the ladies. He continues, “ I mean, I'm Chris Brown. I'm not saying it like that, but it's just, like, girls are gonna be around. I love women.”
One thing is for sure—Chris isn’t self-conscious! But whatever his reasoning is, we’re glad he’s not trying to get into a relationship. He said, “But I would say I've just been chillin'. I haven't really been trying to get into a relationship or trying to date anybody. I've just kinda been working on me. Like I said, just really getting me straight."
He might want to stay single for a while. It hasn’t even been a year since the incident. Plus, who would want to be the first girlfriend after Rihanna! Talk about being a little scared! Regardless of how many times Chris apologizes, it doesn’t change what he’s capable of doing to a woman.
