We’ve barely forgotten about Chris Brown and Drake’s bottle-popping nightclub fisticuff and already the unpredictable star has been accused of assaulting another music artist...again.
Chris Brown allegedly started throwing punches at music's indie R&B darling Frank Ocean after Frank reportedly “stole” Chris’ parking spot.
Chris and Frank were BOTH at the same L.A. recording studio on Sunday night. According to TMZ’s sources, Chris tried to leave the studio but Frank and his crew blocked Chris’s car, to which Frank said, “this is my studio, this is my parking spot.”
Then Chris tried to play nice, but one of Frank’s boys attacked Chris and then everything escalated and a melee ensued.
However, according to police, Frank stuck around to file a police report, so now he’s being identified as the “victim” and claims that Chris started the fight and does confirm that it all started over a parking space, which one might argue is the dumbest thing to fight over, that being said, parking spaces don’t come easy in L.A., so I don’t blame them.
Live in L.A. for one month and you’ll understand why having a parking spot is a BIG DEAL.
Anyways, Frank later tweeted, “got jumped by chris and a couple guys. Lol. I only wish everest [Frank’s dog] was there. Cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”
I wonder if this “fight” was solely for the purpose of sabotaging Frank’s ability to play at the Grammys? OMG does the plot thicken?
Chris’ posted his response on Instagram, writing, “Working on my album. Not working on negativity. Focus on feeding ya family. Bullsh*t will forever be in the shadows.”
That being said, this fight was a long time coming. Over the summer, Chris, Frank Ocean and Frank’s right-hand-man rapper Tyler, The Creator (yeah, that’s his name) were caught up in a Twitter battle. Needless to say, the were already beefin’ before the recording studio mishap happened.
