Chris Brown wants you to forget about all the negative things you've read about him in the past few weeks and turn your focus back on his music career. We know, easier said than done.

The same day Chris was charged with two felonies for allegedly assaulting Rihanna, he posted a Myspace Blog asking fans to vote for him to win a Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Award.

The blog reads: "Hey fans, Vote for Chris on the Kids Choice Awards 2009," and provides links to the two categories he's nominated in, Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song.

Something tells us he won't be taking home any awards this year at the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Award. He was shunned from the Grammy's and the NAACP awards.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT : I'm curious as to why when people only have half of the story, they have already tried and convicted Chris Brown ! How does anyone know the whole story when the whole story hasn't been told ? For all we know Rhianna could have been the aggressor. Doesn't anyone find the location of the bite mark a little odd ? How do we know that Rhianna didn't assualt Mr. Brown? Are we to be so unreasonalbe as to feel that a woman can assualt a man and he has no right to fight back ? Don't men have feelings also, are they not human beings? And please no one wants to hear the excuse that men are superior to woman and they should stand there and take what ever a woman dishes out, and then by the same token demand equality! I have been an abused woman and I work with abused people every day men and woman. Let it be said that maybe Rhianna is not the right woman for Mr. Brown instaed of the other way around ! Nothing about Rhiannas' music or personality says VICTOM to many people. So maybe just maybe the media and battered women activist have it all wrong, maybe it's not Rhianna that needs saving, maybe it's Chris Brown. I guess it just can't be that Rhianna is a jealous and volital girlfriend right ?

not in this case... what if he'd hit once more & that punch to the head left her crippled? or paralyzed? or dead? Should we forget about that? Michael Jackson was never able to pull his career back (& there was no actual evidence of his wrong doing, whereas w/this douchebag pix of Rihanna were all over the place & everyone saw) why should this a-hole get a break? I hope they put him away for good & I hope his carrer never recovers & if she stays w/him, I wish the same for her career, b/c those two were role models for many African-American kids & EVERYONE needs to know that it is not OK to beat women!!!
