Things are just getting worse for Chris Brown. The D.A. has just decided they want more evidence on him.
They’ve decided now to investigate Chris for a variety of different felonies, including domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury, and even attempted murder. And that last allegation is a result of what Rihanna has told police officers.
A source tells E! News that the prosecutors are worried about any serious charges sticking since the only witnesses are Rihanna and Chris.
Loyola University law professor Stan Goldman says, “The district attorney's kicking the case back to police could signal that prosecutors are seeking to build stronger charges against Brown; or it could mean the current evidence is too flimsy or has holes that would drop it to a misdemeanor or make it go away altogether.”
He also added, “If you’re Chris Brown, it’s both good and bad.”
It’s so crazy that Chris’ one statement to Rihanna about saying he was going to kill her is making the difference between being charged on making a criminal threat, and attempted murder.
We have a feeling this is going be a long drawn out trial when it begins.
