Chris Brown has finally apologized for going bat shit crazy after his GMA interview earlier this week.
"First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, anybody who was offended or really disappointed in my actions because I was disappointed in the way I acted," Chris told BET's 106 & Park.
He continued: "A lot of people don't know what went down. When I do shows or when I do interviews we send out like a talking point sheet. And if the network or whoever isn't compliant with what we want to do so that we can equally accomplish a goal, we usually kind of back out and wait until it's a better situation."
Robin Roberts claims that Chris approved the Rihanna questions before they went on air, but Chris is singing a different tune. "Everything that was sent to me was about the album. That's what we were talking about. So when the interview proceeded, I was thrown off. I felt like, ok, they told us this to get us on the show and exploit me. I took it very, very hard..."
Blah, blah, blah. If he didn't want to talk about Rihanna he could have simply said it during the interview. Plain and simple. Don't run off and break shit.
But clearly all this negative publicity has been great for his album sales! His fourth-album F.A.M.E. has been predicted to sell between 250,000 and 300,000 in its first week of release. You know what they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity! Check out Catty Chris on BET below...
