Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos worked his magic and got Chris out of doing any jail time.
Chris Brown's preliminary hearing is set to take place this afternoon at 1:45pm. Both Chris and Rihanna are already at court, accompanied by their lawyers.
As Hollyscoop reported earlier today,
Rihanna is reportedly terrified of testifying against Chris in court because she knows details about their private relationship are going to be discussed.
Brown faces two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats stemming back from the incident following the pre Grammy party in February.
If convicted, he faces up to five years behind bars! Hollyscoop will be at the court hearing, so we'll keep you guys posted on all the details!
UPDATE: Chris Brown just showed up to court with two blacked out Escalades. He was wearing a grey suit and a white shirt. He was accompanied by his lawyer Mark Geragos. Chris' mother is in court, along with other family members. He looks rather upset, as does the rest of his family.
UPDATE 2: Rihanna's lawyer Donald Etra just arrived to the courthouse sans Rihanna. When asked about his client he said, "She's ready to testify."
UPDATE 3: Rihanna just showed up to court wearing all black.
UPDATE 4: Camera crews were just allowed inside the courtroom.
