Up until now, we kind of assumed Rihanna was obsessively falling for Chris Brown, while Chris was just kinda “meh” about their whole relationship.
Rihanna writes songs about him and sends cryptic texts and talks about him in interviews and now finally, Chris is opening up about his love for Rihanna too.
Chris went to Elton John’s Oscar party alone but told the New York Post, “We are really happy. We are back together. She is the most beautiful girl in the world. But I’m sad she couldn’t be here tonight, she is rehearsing for her tour.”
Chris must be feeling extra guilty about something, because he also went and gushed to UK tabloid The Mirror to talk about the fateful night he punched RiRi in the face. “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven…but, yes, I worked hard for it.”
“What can I say? I’m forgiven.” Geez, Chris Brown, try and act a little humble. Like, a little bit.
However, Chris says he’s all grow’d up now.
“I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of the stuff, fame, for granted.”
“People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time,” Chris reveals, “But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me anymore.”
And with that, Chris Brown dropped the mic and slowly walked away while “Nobody’s Business" started playing out of nowhere.
