Cheryl Cole Reunites with Ex Husband

Cheryl Cole was kicked off of X-Factor, but she’s got her own ex-factor to deal with—ex-husband Ashley Cole. Let’s just hope he doesn’t win her back only to break up with her a few weeks later, replacing her with a Pussycat Doll.

Cheryl apparently spent the night at her old home—and her ex’s current home--over the weekend. Now, her footballer ex is rumored to be bragging that their reunion is a “done deal.” The couple split almost a year ago amid rumors that Ashley was cheating. The Sun now claims that they’re considering a reconciliation.

A source told the mag: “Ashley gave a lost and hurt woman, whom he still loves, a place to lay her head. It reminded her of a happier time. It was masochistic of her and clever of him. He'd do anything to woo her back. Her PR team insists it is platonic but they are very worried.”

Well played, Ashley, well played. Although, Cheryl doesn’t seem too heartbroken over the whole X-Factor crisis. She took to her blog recently to reassure fans and let everyone know she was doing fine.

“I have the BEST, most unbelievable people out there," Cole wrote. "I feel so lucky to call my support system. You never fail to amaze me. I have been reading your letters and opening my prezzies ( I feel very spoilt ) and hearing all of your kind, special and inspiring things you want to say to me.”

Cheryl didn’t comment on her rekindled romance. But according to another source, “She knows the British public wouldn't accept a reunion. She has to decide between a career here or love abroad.”
