With semifinals only a week away and the threat of a double elimination hanging over the dance floor, week eight of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ created a pressure cooker for the remaining couples on Monday night.

To remain in the competition, they would have to excel at two full dances: an individual ballroom and, for the first time in the show’s history, a dance trio.

In the first round, actor William Levy in a tux and Cheryl Burke, wearing a long feather dress and elbow length black gloves, danced to the top of the pack. Against the backdrop of Paris, their energizing foxtrot earned a perfect score, with each judge awarding a 10.
Believe it or not, but Rob Kardashian, the chill-bro brother of the Kardashian Klan who usually just watched TV or ate Doritos in every episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” just got a perfect score on last nights episode of Dancing With The Stars.

In night one of the two-part finale of the dancing series, each dancing duo did a freestyle routine and a choreographed routine. Both Rob and JR Martinez received perfect scores for their respective freestyle dances. JR’s perfect score doesn’t surprise me, I mean that guy is great, he’s a war vet turned soap opera star turned dance pro? I can’t get enough!

At the end of last night, the final scores for the three remaining couples are as follows: Rob Kardashian and partner Cheryl Burke (57 points out of 60), Ricki Lake and partner Derek Hough (54 points) and JR Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff (54 points).

'Dancing with the Stars' pro Cheryl Burke is getting some major criticism for her recent weight gain. She blasted the media earlier this month for sending out a dangerous message to her young fans, and now she's talking to Ellen hoping to put the stories to rest once and for all.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Burke said, "I was like, maybe I should just starve myself for four weeks just so people would shut up," she said. "But at the end of the day ... I'm an athlete. I like to eat, I like to work out, and I like to feel healthy, and I feel healthy."

It's actually really sad that her weight gain has become such a huge issue. She's eating right and exercising, why are a few pounds such a big deal? It's much sexier than being stick thin.

The talk of the town is Cheryl Burke's weight gain. She's been catching a lot of heat for allegedly gaining weight this season on Dancing With the Stars. But Jennifer Love Hewitt, being last year's target in the tabloids, has come to Burke's defense.

At Saturday's St. Jude's Runway for Life Gala in Beverly Hills, Hewitt said, "I think her dancing is what everyone needs to be concentrating on. Cheryl is an incredible dancer. She works her butt off—literally—to impress people every single week on Dancing With the Stars , and I just think she's fantastic."

Even Jennifer's fiancé, Ross McCall, chimed in, "Everyone needs to leave her alone."

As for Jennifer, she's been sticking to a pretty hard core workout routine lately. She's training for a marathon! She says, "It's something I wanted to try and train for, for a long time. I may be walking it or roller-skating it, but I will be doing it."

A handful of celebrity gossip bloggers (not us) have been criticizing Cheryl Burke for "gaining weight" and she's not pleased. Rightfully so, the Dancing with the Stars pro is concerned that the media could be sending out a dangerous message to her young fans.

"There's a lot of pressure living this Hollywood life. People expect to see you at a certain weight and when you gain a few pounds then all of a sudden it's the talk of the week. People will always have an opinion about you, whether it's good or it's bad," she said.

She even went on to encourage her fans saying, "Most important is to have a secure feeling about yourself and know that you're beautiful regardless of what people think of you." We couldn't agree more.

No one even really knew who Drew Lachey was until Dancing WIth The Stars rebooted his failing career. And now he's rumored to be doing a little more than dancing with his ex-partner Cheryl Burke

After winning in 2006, the couple were a part of a national tour for the show, and reportedly got a little too close for comfort, seeing as though Drew is married.

According to Star Magazine, the two didn't try to hide it very well, and Cheryl's then boyfriend even walked in on them. Scandalous! That show is crazy. People are hooking up left and right with each other.

The dancers are paired up with their partners for hours and hours each day in some pretty sexual routines. Guess it's too tempting for some to just keep it professional.
