Cher To Play Catwoman?

There's a rumor buzzing that Cher is Chris Nolan's pick to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie.

Studio execs are saying, "Cher is Nolan's first choice to play Catwoman. He wants to her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years. The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry's purring creations."

This is a very interesting choice if it's true! Cher is nothing like the Catwoman character we think of. But Chris has a way of picking actors that bring something completely new and fresh to a role. What do you think of the choice? Yay or nay on Cher as Catwoman?
