If you’re a pretty lady in Hollywood, chances are Chelsea Handler has or is about to talk sh-t about you. In that case, yes, meeting Chelsea Handler can be terrifying. She labeled Angelina Jolie as “not a woman you can trust” and back in 2010, she called her a “homewrecker” in a stand-up show.

What I’m trying to say is, don’t get on Chelsea Handler’s bad side.
Word around the water cooler is that NBC’s “Whitney” star Whitney Cummings nabbed herself a new talk show “Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings.”

Now, you may be asking yourself, “Whitney??” and “Didn’t that show get terrible ratings?” and “Wasn’t it just all around abysmal?”

Well, yes… But maybe television execs aren’t as hollow-headed as we’d like to think.

Cummings will join a long list of comediennes-turned talk show hosts, some of whom were quite successful in the endeavor.

Let’s take a look at the roster.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
Chris Harrison, the host of The Bachelor series, announced last week that he was divorcing his wife of 22-years.

Everyone was secretly hoping that Chris Harrison would himself become the next eligible bachelor on the series, but sadly Chris shot down rumors that he will ever be the next candidate for "The Bachelor."
And the claws come out. Chelsea Handler, who is actually best friends with Jennifer Aniston in real life, covers the May issue of More magazine and says that she thinks she wouldn’t trust a woman like Angelina Jolie. I’m paraphrasing here, but this is what she tells the mag:

When asked who in Hollywood she thinks is the opposite of a "girl’s girl," she says, “Probably Angelina Jolie. You just know as a woman when you see another woman if that’s a woman you can trust. She (Jolie) doesn’t strike me as someone I would have a close friendship with.”
LeAnn Rimes appeared on ‘Chelsea Lately’ last night, where she talked about everything from staging paparazzi shots to her own personal struggle with falacio.

"Welcome to my show,” Handler said. “I know that you've seen me talking sh-t about you."

Awkwaaard. Well, not really. Apparently, LeAnn Rimes is fine with people talking sh-t about her, so now we can all do it 100% guilt-free.

"I watched your show religiously I was bawling my eyes out and I was watching,” Rimes told Handler.

Chelsea Handler has become a household name in her own right, but she’s also quite often seen hobnobbing with her A-list best friends, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

Handler stars in This Means War with Reese Witherspoon, and we caught up with the writer/actress/producer at the This Means War movie premiere.
Damn, Chelsea Handler talked about a lot of heavy stuff on The Rosie Show. What happened to her just calling celebrities c-nts?

Chelsea headed to Rosie O'Donnell's talk show to talk about some details of her personal life, including an abortion she had when she was a mere sixteen years-old. Handler says her parents urged her to get an abortion after finding out she was pregnant.
For most of us, getting mistaken for a celebrity is usually awesome. For celebs, it’s not as awesome, because, well, they’re already celebs.

A handful of celebrities have often been mistaken for other celebrities. Sometimes they’re flattered, sometimes they’re annoyed. But at any rate, here are some notable celebrities who have been mistaken for other celebrities.

Zooey Deschanel & Katy Perry: Zooey didn’t take it very well when she was compared, looks-wise, to pop star Katy Perry. “It’s a little bit annoying to be totally blunt,” Zooey said. “The only similarity that we have is that we look a little bit alike…I’m happy that she’s famous enough now that she’s not going out and being mistaken for me.” And she did it without a single Ukulele.
A lot of celebrities write books. Actually, too many of them. Nobody wants to read “Hooking Up with Tila Tequila” by Tila Tequila. The market is a little oversaturated right now.

That being said. There are some excellent celebrity books, like Tina Fey’s “Bossy Pants” and Alicia Silverstone’s “The Kind Diet” and then there are other celeb books that aren’t so great, like “Elixir” by Hilary Duff, but are somehow incredibly popular.

So here they are, the most successful celebrity “authors” ever. I put that in air quotes, because c’mon, nobody wants to be know as an “author” when you can be labeled a “celebrity.”

Lauren Conrad: Conrad is such a successful author she has 4 books! That’s four more than Audrina Patridge has got. Lauren wrote a trilogy of books called the “LA Candy” series, which follows the life of Jane Roberts who moves to LA for a fashion internship and ends up starring on a reality show! Gasp, this is NOTHING like the “The Hills.”
Chelsea Handler’s new sitcom, Are You There, Chelsea? debuts tonight on NBC, and while it’s been getting mixed reviews, lots of people are expecting it to be pretty good. Why? Because Handler has garnered herself a whole gaggle of fans from her stand-up comedy and E! show, Chelsea Lately. Turns out audiences respond really well to talking about your vagina and calling Angelina Jolie a c*nt.

On the show, Lara Prepon plays Handler, who is a standup comedienne on the show, too. Like a tall, blonde, female Seinfeld. To help kick off Chelsea’s show, we’re rounding up six other comediennes turned sitcom stars.

Whitney Cummings: Cummings appeared in the San Francisco
