Cher's Daughter Chastity Bono to Become a Man

Sonny Bono and Cher's daughter Chastity Bono is currently in the process of undergoing gender reassignment surgery to become a male.

She reportedly began the transition shortly after her 40th birthday earlier this year, reports TMZ.

"Yes, it's true -- Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity," confirmed Bono's publicist, Howard Bragman.
