After previous reports that Charlie Sheen has been shopping a new sitcom around with Lionsgate, it’s starting to look more and more like he’s still bi-losing.
Not only do the networks seemingly have no idea what this sitcom talk is about, Sheen’s last mediocre-looking girlfriend left him.
Online reports surfaced yesterday that TBS was a frontrunner for the supposed series, but a TBS rep released the following statement:
“TBS is not in discussions for a possible project with Charlie Sheen.”
A rep for Lionsgate said they had “no comment.” So who knows if this is actually happen, or if Charlie Sheen has just been prank calling a bunch of reporters using a voice modulator.
The good news is, if he doesn’t get a deal with any of these networks, there’s always TLC. I’m sure they can fit in another show about a bizarre weirdo in between Extreme Couponing and Toddlers and Tiaras. In fact, Sheen might actually star in Extreme Couponing if things don’t start looking up for him.
And in case there was any question as to whether he completely burned his bridges with Chuck Lorre, in the season premiere of Two and a Half Men, Lorre apparently plans to drive Sheen’s character off a cliff. So much like Sheen’s career, Charlie Harper will die a horrible death.
