Enough time has passed now that we can start looking at this whole Charlie Sheen thing and really analyze what the f-ck happened. I was hoping for a big bang, but unfortunately, the whole thing ended with a whimper. And about 5,000 unsold "Duh, Winning!" t-shirts.
"It's as much a mystery to me as to everyone, I think," Cryer said in an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday.
"My favorite moment was I got a text from someone, saying, 'Charlie Sheen just called Thomas Jefferson a p-ssy.' I said, 'I think things are getting out of hand'."
I think we will all remember where we were during that moment.
"We didn’t see where it was going," Cryer continued. "This has never happened before. It wasn't like, back in 1963, oh everyone remembers when Fred McMurray went batsh-t and started talking about free mason ninjas and stuff. It was crazy! And Vivian Vance started urinating on the set of 'Here's Lucy.'"
It would've made a hell of an episode, though. Cryer added that, "nobody in show business can possibly get away with making fun of their bosses." Except everyone who works for Harvey Levin.
Cryer says his new costar, Ashton Kutcher, shares the same sense of humor as Sheen. During a recent press trip, Cryer shared a private jet with Kutcher, and as the two began boarding, Kutcher said:
"You know what I love about private jets? You can bring knives on board."
