Chuck Lorre, Warner Bros., CBS and Two and a Half Men don’t want anything to do with Charlie Sheen, but he has some options left in cable TV.
Doug Elin, the creator of Entourage, told Charlie he would love to have him on the new season of the show.
"I called his manager and was told maybe I'd get him," he says. "But I'm still waiting for Charlie to call me back. I'd come up with something good."
Considering the last season ended with Vince becoming a cokehead, it would be perfect timing for Charlie to join the show.
During an interview with TV Guide, Doug also suggested that Jeremy Piven replace Charlie Sheen on TAHM since Entourage is set to wrap up shooting in mid-June. "It would be feasible and they'd be lucky to have him,” he added.
So what will the fab five face in their final days? Vince will be out of rehab and try to get his career back, Ari will try to win his wife back, we won’t see Eric’s wedding, but one of the guys may become a father. "I'm working on possibly having Johnny knock up Shauna [Debi Mazar],” Doug joked.
Also in the works? An Entourage movie and Johnny Drama getting his own spinoff as Johnny the animated Gorilla. The season premiere of Entourage airs on July 24th.
