Charlie Sheen's brother, actor Emilio Estevez, insists that Charlie Sheen is now a "completely different guy." Estevez insists that Charlie is not the coked-out warlock that Sheen usually acts like.
Estevez appeared on "Access Hollywood" and says Charlie has his act together and is ready to work again. This is code for, Sheen spent all his money on prostitutes and tigers milk and now needs a steady income again.
Estevez talks up Charlie, "He's a different guy. He's a completely different guy. He's got his voice back. And I think he's got his focus."
He should be careful when using the phrase “he’s a completely different guy”, because I'm pretty sure Charlie was low-key multiple-personality disorder for a while. When he started talking about having "Adonis DNA" I knew there was something other than drug use involved.
Esteves says Charlie is working on a new sitcom based on the 2003 movie “Anger Management” which Charlie also starred in. “He’s on a new show and he’s gonna be roasted by Comedy Central – which I think is going to be hysterical. I think that he’s really got it together. And he’s very excited about the crew of the show he’s putting together.”
Wow, when did Charlie’s brother also become his publicist?
It’s already been announced that Charlie’s roast will air at the same time as the season premiere of his former show “Two and a Half Men,” where Charlie’s old character is reportedly being killed off in the first episode.
In other Charlie news, Charlie and his ex-wife Brooke Mueller are considering getting back together. A source tells Us magazine that the two have been “getting counseling and therapy [with] the boys and that Mueller is “responding to treatment” she has been seeking for her addiction problems.
Charlie mostly feels bad that his kids are having to go through this, “He just wants his kids to be happy, and if that means they need be a family, then he is up for it…The kids have suffered a lot, and he feels so guilty lately.”
The source also adds that “he’s been clean since February.” Charlie’s dad, actor Martin Sheen says Charlie’s issues stem from his years of drug addiction. “He’s doing well,” says Martin, “We pray for him. If he had cancer, how would you treat him?”
Wow, possibly drug free, getting together again with Brooke Mueller and wanting to work again? Who are you and what have you done with Charlie Sheen?! Keep your eyes glued to his twitter account for breaking news.
