Charlie Sheen Upset He Fell Off the Wagon

Charlie Sheen is reportedly very disappointed in himself for last week’s arrest. Since being locked up for allegedly threatening his wife, he’s been reflecting on his life.

A friend close to Sheen tells People,
"Charlie feels awful. He let himself down by drinking ... [And] he wants to be with his kids."

As Hollyscoop previously reported, Charlie and his wife Brooke Mueller want to do what it takes to save their marriage. The source adds that Charlie “has two little boys and he does not want to get divorced again.”

Although Sheen and Mueller are not in the same city right now, that may be for the best. An insider says, "He's trying to take it easy before he has to go back to work on Monday.”

Apparently the knife Charlie had with him on the night of the incident was one he carries with him all the time. “Yes. It's a pocketknife that his dad gave him 22 years ago, which he always carries. It's not like he got a kitchen knife and went after her," says the friend.

It sounds like this whole thing just got blown out of proportion! That’s what happens when people drink and do drugs to excess—you turn on the people close to you!

They’re both definitely to blame here. Brooke and Charlie not only need to work on their marriage, but think about their little children who probably pick up on more than they realize when their parents are fighting like this.
