Charlie Sheen to Cop a Plea

Charlie Sheen is due in court on Monday in Aspen to appear before a judge for threatening to kill his wife Brooke Mueller. And despite earlier reports, TMZ is now claiming Sheen and his lawyers are planning on making a plea bargain for the felony he committed.

But sources say the prosecutors are not keen on making a deal with him. Apparently Charlie Sheen is planning on pleading no contest to a misdemeanor, provided he would not do any jail time.

He'd agree to probation and also agree to take anger management classes.

But the prosecutors feel they have enough physical evidence to convince a jury that Brooke's original allegations against Charlie are truthful, even if she doesn’t want to take the stand against him.

Sounds like Charlie is doing anything he can to avoid jail time, but if there’s enough evidence against him, there’s not much he can do!
