Hollyscoop has confirmed that Charlie Sheen will indeed be presenting at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.
In an apropos pairing, and an appreciated show of self awareness, Sheen -- actor, playboy, porn star suitor, escort service enthusiast and “former” addict -- will be presenting the montage for the greatest party movies of all time.
Earning his keep, and sticking with the theme, Sheen will also stick around to introduce Wiz Khalifa “and his first-ever live performance of new single ‘Work Hard, Play Hard.’”
MTV calls the walking time bomb that is Sheen, “unpredictable-yet-entertaining.”
Speaking of entertaining, let’s hope that if Sheen goes off the rails, the display will somehow include or be directed at Ashton Kutcher -- the younger, prettier and possibly dirtier star that replaced Sheen as headliner on his hit show Two and a Half Men.
Kutcher isn’t confirmed to present, but it seems logical that he would attend as he will be seen on a special pre-show episode of Punk’d… and surely he realizes he could pick up mad chicks at anything MTV related.
Wait! What if Sheen and Kutcher were to have their own reality show? Put them in a house and let them compete for the ultimate in bachelorness. Somebody call somebody on this one. But I call trademark.
Anyway, the MTV Movie Awards, hosted by comedian Russell Brand will air live this Sunday, June 3, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
