This just sounds weird.
Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller apparently really really really want to have a boy. So to up their chances, they underwent a fertility procedure called “sperm spinning” to up their chances.
So far Charlie has only fathered girls: Sam and Lola with Denise Richards, and Cassandra with ex-girlfriend Paula Profit. And now he’s desperate to have a son!
According to the
National Enquirer, the pair paid to have the star's X and Y sperm separated, and
Mueller was inseminated with just the Y sperm, giving their chances of having a son an 80% boost.
Now, the
National Enquirer has come up with some pretty outlandish stories in their day, but we looked it up, and to our surprise, sperm spinning does in fact exist. And Charlie is just crazy enough to do something like that. But if it does happen to be a girl, the couple will still be overjoyed. In a recent interview, the actor said, "Ultimately, we just want a healthy child. We know everyone says that, but it's the truth."
