Charlie Sheen is the new Santa Claus. No, he’s not playing Santa in a new movie (but how awesome would that be?) he’s just handing out gifts left and right.
Most recently, Charlie told “Two and a Half Men” star/hater Angus T. Jones that he has a role on Charlie’s new show “Anger Management” whenever he wants it.
Earlier this week Charlie Sheen gave Lindsay Lohan $100,000 to pay off her unpaid taxes from 2009 and 2010. For starters, I’m sure there are A LOT more worthy candidates for that much money other than Lindsay, but Charlie reportedly bonded with Lindsay when they worked on Scary Movie 5 together.
Speaking of Scary Movie 5, Charlie gave away his entire $250,000 salary from the film to different charities. The charities were reportedly chosen by the film’s director, producer, and another member of the crew.
Over the summer, Charlie gave $250,000 to the United Service Organizations and pledged to give 1% of earrings from his show “Anger Management” to the USO as well.
But the giving doesn’t end there! In May of 2011, a Dodgers fan was savagely beaten at a game, so Sheen donated the funds from his “Torpedo of Truth” shows to the injured guy, which totaled $20,000.
Charlie also supports several AIDS charities, donated unnamed funds and supports various charities like AID for AIDS, Chrysalis, Dine Out Los Angeles, Lili Claire Foundation, Nancy Davis Foundation for MS, and Organization for Bipolar Affective Disorder.
From threatening his wives at knife point, to “winning,” to giving…Charlie Sheen is the new Santa Clause except not at all like Santa Claus.
