Who would give up hundreds of thousands of dollars of week?? Charlie Sheen, that’s who!
Sources say the actor is most likely going to drop out of Two And A Half Men and not renew his contract. "Charlie is really into his sobriety now," one source told TMZ, adding, "He likes the show but it brings back bad memories."
Insiders say Sheen is looking towards “the next thing.”
It’s so hard to fathom anyone would walk away from that much money. Sources say Charlie could make anywhere between $60 and $100 in the next two years. But an industry exec says, "If it doesn't happen it literally wouldn't faze him."
One guy who does want his contract renewed—Jon Cryer. Sources say his people are working around the clock to get his contract renewed, which would equal $20 million for the next two years.
Hollyscoop caught up with Two and a Half Men co-star Jennifer Taylor who told us, “The show has already been picked up for two more seasons. If Charlie is not there then there is no show. If there is no Charlie there is no Two and a Half Men.”
It’s still eight days away from CBS announcing its fall schedule!
