According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen told Two and a Half Men crew members that he will pay a third of their salaries if CBS and Warner Bros. agrees to pay the rest. And apparently Sheen has run out of cocaine, because he says he’s ready to return to work on Monday.
CBS isn’t holding its breath. An executive told TMZ to expect the show to return by the end of the month at the earliest. An exec from Warner Bros. had this to say:
“We sincerely hope that Charlie's rehab is going well. We hope that he is healthy in the very near future and we look forward to the return of production of Two and a Half Men.”
Neither Warner Bros. nor CBS commented on Sheen’s proposal. It’s refreshing that Sheen feels enough remorse to realize how his actions affect others. It’s also nice of him to offer to reimburse the crew, although I’m sure he plans on paying them in hookers and blow.
