NAME:Charlie Sheen BIRTH DATE:September 3, 1965 (Age: 49) PLACE OF BIRTH:New York City, NY

Born Carlos Irwin Estevez on September 3, 1965, in New York City to Janet and actor Martin Sheen, Charlie Sheen along with his brothers Renee, Ramon Jr. and Emilio were all assisted by their father to pursue a career in the spotlight.

Charlie took his father’s advice to heart, making his acting debut in the TV movie The Execution of Private Slovik (1974) at the mere age of 9.

Despite missing out on a high school diploma in part of being a bad student, it didn’t stop Sheen from continuing down the acting path, which he officially ignited when he landed his first substantial role in Oliver Stone’s Oscar winning biopic Platoon (1986). He further made his presence known with a critically acclaimed performance opposite Michael Douglas in Oliver Stone’s crime drama Wall Street (1987).

Now seen a dramatic actor, Sheen showed his versatility by starring in comedic films such as Hot Shots (1991), Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993), The Three Musketeers (1993) and Major League II (1994). He then switched over to the TV screen as Michael J. Fox’s replacement in the sitcom Spin City (2000) before starring in the hit spoof Scary Movie 3 (2003).

That same year, Sheen assumed the role of playboy and party-boy Charlie Harper in the hit TV series Two and a Half Men (2003-2011) during which he earned $1.8 million per episode.

Due to his off-screen lifestyle, which included being arrested for assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller in 2009, Sheen’s acting career began to suffer tremendously. His odd behavior continued to unfold with the star fighting with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre and rambling on about drinking “tiger blood” in multiple interviews, ultimately resulting in him being replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

Although a major set back, Sheen made his comeback in the TV series Anger Management (2012-2013).

Sheen’s most recent projects include, Scary MoVie (2013) and Machete Kills (2013).
