Charice Becomes a Gleek

A few weeks ago, we didn’t know who this girl Charice Pempengco was, and now she’s becoming a household name! She just performed on Oprah, has a new album out, and is now joining Glee!

The popstar, who is originally from the Philippines, will play a series regular on the hit TV show on Fox. Her manager confirmed the news to The Philippines Inquirer, saying, "And not just as a guest, but as part of the cast in a new season."

Charice was reportedly sought out because the show's theme and the cast's age group fits her.
