Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?
Well, it's a fortune cookie, apparently. A fortune cookie of advice baked specifically for a certain first-time dad-to-be.
At the G.I. Joe: Retaliation premiere, we caught up with Dwayne Johnson on his co-starring soldier Channing Tatum's next thrilling mission: fatherhood.
If his parenting technique is anything like Channing's skills in sergeant fatigues, then this is one assignment he'll accomplish just fine according to the film's lead.
"He's going to be amazing as a dad," Dwayne tells Hollyscoop. "I told him this when I found out he was going to be a daddy, 'Your life is going to change and it's all for the better.'"
Dwayne, who has a daughter himself, offered up those encouraging words to Channing who's expecting his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum. He also adds that it'll do unexpected wonders for the father-to-be's work ethic.
"And as inspired as [Channing] is to do well before his baby [arrives], to do well and motivated to succeed, even more so, it's going to quadruple."
So good news for you die-hards who have memberships to Channing Tatum Fan Clubs in at least four countries. If this turns out to be the consequence of fatherhood, instead of slowing down, expect to see People's "Sexiest Man Alive" in even more movies than last year, which is a feat considering he was in approximately every movie released in 2012.
