Channing Tatum just gave an interview to Details magazine where he admitted, "I know I'm not the best actor" and with a face like that, does he really need to be?
Hollyscoop caught up with the hot star at the Haywire Los Angeles premiere, where he told us that he is "not a funny guy" and should be thanking Jonah Hill for his comedic turn in new movie 21 Jump Street.
"I did the movie because of Jonah," Tatum tells Hollyscoop at the premiere of his movie Haywire, "I'm not a funny guy, you know, I don't consider myself a comedian or even a comedic actor."
We think Tatum is doing perfectly fine for himself, but he says its Jonah Hill who basically taught him to be funny.
"Jonah has a track record of really taking people that aren't comedic actors and taking them down the road and teaching them comedy and really holding their hands and that’s exactly what he did for me," says Tatum, "We had a blast on the movie and we have a great friendship now. It’s because of him that I really wanted to do it."
Before 21 Jump Street premieres, Tatum has a new movie out, Haywire and yet again he downplays his role in the flick says you should see the movie for how great his co-star Gina Carano is.
"If you’re a guy and you’ve always wanted to get your butt kicked by a girl that’s probably hotter than most girls that you’ve ever been with, that’s why you should come to this movie. Girls, she’s a chick and she’s bad ass."
Channing Tatum may think he's not a good actor, funny enough, or his co-star is more bad ass than he is, but he sure gives a great interview.
