Forbes is at it again. Counting cash like Scrooge McDuck in his pile of coins, Forbes has figured out the yearly gross earnings for the highest paid male stars in Hollywood and the list is pretty surprising. Like, why is The Rock on there?
Robert Downey Jr. took the top spot, making $75 million in the last year, mostly due to his portrayal of the iconic billionaire playboy Tony Stark and his alter ego Iron Man in The Avengers and Iron Man 3.
Channing Tatum is a true rags-to-riches story. His $60 million earnings last year were thanks to self-financing Magic Mike and making it all back (and then some) at the box office when the movie was a hit.
Hugh Jackman earned $55 million last year because he can command huge paychecks from successes like X-Men and Les Miserables.
4th place goes to Mark Wahlberg who had an unsurprising hit in Ted and just started filming the next "Transformers" sequel, which we're assuming is a big reason for his hefty pay day. He earned $52 million last year.
