Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Score Bafta Nominations

Gotta love Award Show season! The British Academy has announced their nominations and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are up for some awards again! Maybe they can score this time around.

Jolie is up against Kate Winslet in the best actress category, along with Meryl Streep and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Brad it also up for best actor along side Dev Patel Patel for Slumdog Millionaire, Sean Penn for Milk, Frank Langella for Frost/Nixon and Mickey Rourke for The Wrestler.

The awards will be held a few weeks ahead of the Oscars on Feb. 8 at the Royal Opera House in London.
Anne Hathaway Named Best Actress

Anne Hathaway looks like she’s a shoe-in for Oscar contention after today’s news. Her latest film Rachel Getting Married is already get a lot of attention after leading the upcoming Spirit Awards with six nominations, including one for best picture.

And today Anne has officially been named Best Actress by the National Board of Review for her role in the film. For those of you unfamiliar, the National Board of Review is is comprised of film historians, film pros and others, and is best known for presenting the first nationally recognized awards of Oscar season.

Here’s the full list of today’s winners from the NBR. Look out Keira Knightley and Kate WInslet, our own girl next door may be some tough competition in this year’s Oscar race.

Provocative & Intriguing are two words that best describe the exciting new drama, Changeling. Hollyscoop.com hit the Red Carpet for the Los Angeles Premiere and learned that sometimes "truth is stranger than fiction."

Director Clint Eastwood teams up with Angelina Jolie & John Malkovich to explore the true story of Christine Collins in 1928. Collins, played by Jolie, takes you on a journey of lies and deception after the kidnapping of her son Walter Collins.

The film has quickly began to receive Oscar Buzz which is always exciting, however Clint Eastwood explains that the process is just as rewarding, "Ya know I just make the films and I really enjoy making them, that’s all."

The story, which takes place in Los Angeles in the 1920's, was definitely one of a kind says Eastwood, "It shows what it must have been like for a women to be by herself and try to take on the LAPD and the political establishments of that time, its an uphill battle but she ends up bringing them down."

And if this provocative drama doesn't hit you instantly, Clint Eastwood humorously says "Audiences will love Angelina’s Beautiful Face."
