Top 5 Celebrity Weddings of 2010

A ton of celebs got hitched this year, and in true star fashion, sold off the glamorous pics to the magazines. Others opted for a more low-key affair, and guess what?! They didn’t make our list, simply because we have no way of judging it!

Here’s our top five fave celeb weddings of the year. Sorry Katy and Russell—we just know you’d have made it if you sold out like the rest of the couples on this list and released some sort of photo!

5. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz:
Can you say….shotgun wedding? A very pregnant Alicia wed her man Swizz during a ceremony in Corsica, France in August, with all their A-list friends in attendance, including U2 rocker Bono and Queen Latifah.

Even with a bun in the oven, Keys looked fab in a Grecian goddess-esque Vera Wang. Onlookers said Alicia jumped in the pool during the reception. No bridezilla here!

4. Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky:
Chelsea has come a long way since that awkward little kid in the White House! She was the picture of elegance as President Bill Clinton walked her down the aisle at Astor Courts.

Chelsea chose a very timeless Vera Wang gown, accented with a gorgeous bejeweled sash.

3. Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie:
The Duffster married her hockey player beau in a gorgeous sunset ceremony in Santa Barbara in August.

Hil—like many of the women on the list—chose Vera Wang for her big day, and opted for the curve-hugging mermaid shape. No wonder she was in the gym every day leading up to the nuptials!

The guest list was tiny—only 100 people, and Hil’s sis Haylie was one of her bridesmaids.

2. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden:
After months of speculation, Nicole and Joel finally tied the knot in December at her father Lionel Richie’s home.

Their children Harlow and Sparrow served as flower girl and ring bearer, and guests like Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner and Quincy Jones were all in attendance.

Nicole just couldn’t decide on one dress, so changed into three different gowns throughout the evening—all Marchesa. Must be nice!

The couple sold the pics of their wedding to a random German magazine….and we’re still waiting on more photos!

1. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher:
Carrie and Mike tied the knot back in July at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greenboro, GA for the low low asking price of….$500,000! Ridiculous for normal people, but on the reasonable end for celebrity weddings!

Being the girly girl she is, Carrie opted for tons of pink at her wedding, from the flowers, to the dessert details, to even her doggie flower girl’s outfit. Let’s just hope she doesn’t opt for the same color scheme in their bedroom!

Carrie showed off her southern-gal style in a Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown. But after the ceremony, the bride promptly changed into a strapless Lhuillier cocktail dress that showed off her toned legs.

The couple jetted off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon for two weeks…only the most expensive honeymoon destination in the world!
