Ellen Still Wants Iggy Back

Celebrity Feuds

There is a war going on between Ellen DeGeneres and the agency she adopted her dog from.

Ellen was crying on air yesterday because the agency took Iggy back after they found out that she broke their contract and gave the dog away to her hairstylist. Ellen gave the dog away because she claimed that Iggy didn't get along with her cats.

The hairdresser's kids were apparently devastated hence Ellen publicly asking the agency to give back the dog.

Keith Fink, a lawyer for Mutts & Moms agency, told Page Six that all this on air crying is an act and that Ellen's people have been getting really dirty behind the scenes.

"Ellen's lying," said Fink. "She is using her power and her access to the media to destroy this agency in the media. This is a woman who has signed many seven-figure contracts. She knows what she signed."

According to the lawyer after Ellen went on air crying yesterday the owner of the agency has gotten threats by fans claiming to "burn her house down."

Another fan said, "You slime ball bitches are not worthy of living. How dare you make Ellen cry. Give Iggy back!"

I don't understand why things are so difficult? The dog had a loving home, why go through the trouble of taking it back and trying to find it another home?

can't the hairdressers family just go and sign papers to adopt it themselves??

you'd think the dog lays golden biscuits or something

k: it was stated on another board that the agency do not (like to??) place pets where there are children under 14 years of age. so i don't think they would get the dog, and after all this publicity, i would guess the chances are even slimmer.

Why? Because it's simple: all the laws liberal groups like PETA have enacted to make sure ordinary Joe families like this that want to take care of a pet aren't serial animal abusers have polluted the system so much that companies like this HAVE to follow the rules or get in big trouble. The rule stated who, and ONLY who, the dog could go to as such so Ellen can quit crying about it since she supports the very policy makers that helped this happen. It shouldn't happen but once you make the system this way, if you support these types of "safety laws," then you reap the whirlwind that comes back later at you as a result. If you don't like it, don't support these stupid rules.

You people are nuts, its got nothing to do with the dog. Its all about the "power" some self-important douche bag wants to get off on. Nothing more. The dog is just a fucking tool for this mutts & moms to get off on

Wasn't it the agency that threatened Ellen with media attention in the first place??? Idiots! I'm not saying what Ellen did was right according to their policy, but why can't the agency just have quietly gone in, taken the dog back, and drawn up a new contract with the hairdresser's family. And don't give me this BS about dogs not going to homes with kids under 14!

There are people dying all over and THIS is the crap shes crying about? Go 2 the pound and buy another damn dog.

WELL SAID ERIN!

Ellen has the right to cry over the dog being taken away. We all don't just cry over people dying around the world. The kids are 12 and 13. It's not like their too young to take care of a dog. These say people though would give a dog to someone like Britney to carry around as an accessory but don't want kids that would probably love and care for the dog better then alot of people have it to make a point. I find it disgusting.

Muffy, get some class. About this situation - I have mixed feelings. I understand both sides. I agree with K - the hairdresser's family should try to apply to adopt the dog.

Finally some controversy and it not to do with anyone from the brat pack(Brit, Lindsey, Paris, etc). You know that this is not going to be the last we hear about this.

They won't give it to the hairdressers family because they can't fill their greedy bitch pockets like Ellen did. I hope this company fails and goes out of business because of this.

Go ahead...I mean Ellen should have used her power and access to the media industry to threaten the agency. When it doesn't work with talking, it gets down and dirty, and to ruin the agency's future seems like the best alternative at this moment. Come on, everyone knows that the agency won't sacrifice itself for a dog; if I'm Ellen, I'd make life suck for the agency if they don't have it my way. Better barge suckers.

Ellen is clearly transfering some hidden personal issues to this dog. Her sobbing tearful display expsed a serious mental health issue that she is obviously having.

I wouldn't doubt if she is in serious need of a side order of penis to go with the entree of sushi that she so dearly loves. That, and...she really needs to be a mother. She is just playing house with her girlfriend...at this point in her life, clearly...she needs a man, a child...and a family!!!

You know this is just bullshit. Ellen paid for the dog to be trained and found it a good home with a caring family who wants it. Why are these dumb bitches being so adamant about this ridiculous contract. They should be happy that the dog has a home, isn't that whats most important? a loving home? With all the animals that are euthanized every year, they should be giving the freakin dog away - free of charge! Sick fucks trying to make another dollar off of a dog that was already paid for! These women should rot. AND what the hell is up with not giving pets to a home with children that are under 14? I've never heard of such a ridiculous rule. Who ever heard mom and dad say , "sorry no dog til you're in high school"! Children can learn alot from raising a pet. NOT everyone is an asshole like Mike Vick!!! These bitches need to give the dog back before they watch their business go belly up!
Posted by: K on 10/18/2007 08:03 PM

The agency is wrong. Concerning celebrities, there's always a drama. The idiots should just get over it, why have they even got that on the contract? Animals need love. Why are they making it difficult for Iggy to get it?

OOMG Muffy's comment was HILARIOUS.
