Eddie Murphy Is the Baby Daddy

In case there was any doubt that Eddie Murphy was the baby daddy of "Scary Spice" Melanie Brown's 2-month-old daughter, this should clear some things up.

Results of the DNA test, which Murphy took on June 11, were received by Brown on Thursday afternoon.

"He's the baby's father, it's official," says the source. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his."

"There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."

Murphy's rep declined to comment. Of course! Murphy better start writing checks for that kid...'cause unless Mel is planning a Spice Girls reunion, she's pretty much unemployed right? Talk about a golden egg!

BIG SHOCKER! Eddie is a total idiot and should be hanging his down down in SHAME for putting poor mel through this. I hope that he will lose work for his antics and not be famous anymore. A "man" (which he is NOT) Doesn't act up like that. He knew darn well mel never cheated on him. WHat scum he is.

why is it That someone in the public eye , who many young people Admire have to act so childish and embarras themselevs...God is giving this child a Life a precious gift! How come Eddie Murphy is so DUMB? Poor Mel did NOT deserve such treatment , she is down to earth and solid person as everyone knows this for FACT.he should be Libel for Extra costs, for putting MEL through such STERSS. I HOPE HE FEELS REAL BAD!

Some female posters are the very reason men develop a disdain for the opinion of the fairer sex in this matter. One dimensional logic derided from personal maleficence spawns flawed reasoning. A few posters, whom I noted were female actually made comments asserting that Eddie should have owned up to being the father before actually having proof he "IS" the father. Fact is both persons in a situation like that typically own up to self serving points of view. If a married woman knowingly has had sexual intercourse with a man or men other than her husband and becomes pregnant, she of course will typically assert the father is her "Husband". No one wants the other man/men to own up to anything then and no one is absolutely certain about the identity of the father. And if anyone believes a sexually active woman with multiple partners can be 100% certain of who her child's father is then I suggest they tune into the latest episode of "Maury". Therefore, if the woman can be wrong certainly one can respect a man's right to wishful thinking as well. To my last point the entire institution of accountability in these cases is flawed. If a woman informs a man she's pregnant and he is/maybe the father and he suggest an abortion and she refuses, the man has no general recourse. From the time of the birth of the child he is in effect straddled with a burden he didn't ask for nor wanted. Not merely a financial burden but one of contact with the child's mother or child as well. Believe it or not some men simply don't want children or to be apart of the lives of them. A sentiment I've heard women make a dozen times, yet a man can't feel this way? The point I'm making is no where in a woman's life does she NOT have the right to choose the natural elements that will effect her for life. For those who comment he should be a man, I might suggest you be reminded that MALE and CHOICE are not mutually exclusive. Meaning if one happens the other cannot. So the next time a woman decides she wants to make a choice that will affect THREE or more INDIVIDUALS, I suggest she WOMAN up and take it on the chin if the other party decides to abstain. Proof positive, if there were legislation that allowed a MALE sperm donor/father to "OPT OUT" as it were at the point of his notification of potential accountability a lot of pregnancies simply wouldn't happen. It's the study of folly that believes a woman can keep from getting pregnant at all cost by the midnight Thug and not by a man of means... Love and take care of one another
