Celebrity Apprentice

However, after watching Sunday’s episode where comedienne Lisa Lampanelli gets in a total b-tch fight with former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, I’m definitely going to start watching. But mostly because my cable package got rid of Oxygen, so I can’t watch “Bad Girls Club” anymore.

After watching last night's premiere episode and talking to some of the contestants, it just may be.
First of all, there's Adam Carolla. Having a comedian on the show should mix well with contestants like Lou Ferrigno, Victoria Gotti, and Clay Aiken.

Hollyscoop caught up with Adam, Aubrey and Penn to see what we can expect when the season premieres on February 12. Adam gave us his approach for dealing with his notoriously intimidating boss, Donald Trump.
“I thought it would be fun to make some jokes,” Carolla told Hollyscoop, adding that he often made wisecracks during boardroom meetings, not taking them seriously.

"I just think we have a major group of celebrities, and we have a very iconic group," says Donald Trump. "This is the best cast we've ever had, the biggest cast, and it's going to be special."

A source told Radaronline.com, “Michael is absolutely 100% sober. He hasn't been using drugs or alcohol, but he is being treated for anger management issues. Michael has tremendous admiration for Dr. Drew Pinsky, and was given this opportunity to better himself, and he took it.”
Also in the lineup are former NY Mets pitcher Dwight Gooden, Bai Ling, Jeremy Jackson, and "White House crashers" Tareq and Michaele Salahi. The Salahis are already on the “Real Housewives of DC”, so I’m guessing Pinsky is treating them for an addiction to being on mediocre reality shows.
Dr. Drew, who recently commented on Charlie Sheen’s “bipolar” behavior, says he's "frightened" for him. Charlie Sheen responded, "Tell him he's a fool. I've never even met this mutt. Adios, clowns."
You knew we couldn't end this without a Charlie quote.

Tiger Wood's original mistress Rachel Uchitel has been offered a gig by The Donald.
According to TMZ, Donald personally called Rachel three weeks ago and offered her a spot on the show because he thinks she's "awesome." Wonder how Donald's longtime friend Tiger feels about this?!
Apparently Rachel thinks Donald is just as awesome because she said she would "Absolutely" do it. Of course she would, what else is she going to do with her life?

His amazing return proved that he’s as “RockSolid” as the Apprentice team he competed on. And the Donald was impressed!
Donald mentioned on the show that he had spoken to Bret's doctors, and “they didn’t want you to be here tonight. At all. Believe me, not at all.”
Donald then asked, “Are you risking your life being here? This is a lot of pressure.”
“Lately it seems like me just standing up is risking my life,” said Bret, which got the audience laughing.
The Donald told Bret he's hired and he won $250,000, which he will donate to the American Diabetes Association.
Right before the finale Donald spoke about Bret's ambition and recovery and said, "He has really turned out to be a great character. He's going through a very hard time. He went back into the hospital... They found a hole in his heart and he's really been fighting. He's a great fighter. During the show, I realized what a tough guy he was - when I first met him, I didn't know him... He really did a great job."
Congrats Bret--you're truly an inspiration!

Khloe took to her blog to slam Donald Trump for firing her not for her work ethic, but for her DUI arrest last year.
"It wasn't because of my work ethic, it wasn't because I was slacking," Khloe writes, "It was because of my DUI. I don't think I should have been fired for that reason alone. I just wish Mr. Trump would have handled the situation a little differently."
Her sister Kim Kardashian even jumped to her defense on her own blog, writing: "I was a little disappointed at how she was given the boot," she writes.
"She obviously made an awful mistake but definitely has taken responsibility for her actions and we are all very proud of her."
Technically, she really shouldn't have been fired for something that happened before she joined the cast of the show.
Don't they do background checks for all shows? It's a little hard to believe that the Donald was in the dark about her DUI until last week. What are your thoughts?

Producers for the show decided to drop her after she allegedly demanded a clause in her contract that guaranteed her a place in the shows final.
A source tells the UK Sun, "The network were originally very keen on getting her involved. But her demands were ludicrous and it soon became clear that getting her involved would be a headache.
"It was the final straw when she said she wouldn't take part unless she was a dead cert for the final. She was politely informed that NBC wouldn't be following up their interest in her appearing."
Um, the whole point of the show is that it's a competition! Who does she think she is?!
