Catherine Zeta Jones is fully committed to be by her husband Michael Douglas' side as he receives treatment for throat cancer.
That is why she has turned down a role in the new Marilyn Monroe movie where she would play screen siren Vivien Leigh in upcoming biopic ‘My Week With Marilyn’
A source said: “It isn’t a huge role, but filming would take a week out of her schedule and she wasn’t prepared to do that. She had to say no.”
Meanwhile, Jones has revealed that Douglas is actually responding well with his treatment, which included 8 weeks of radiation and chemo.
She said: “Everyone couldn’t be happier with his progress. He’s holding up with great strength and dignity.”
We sure hope Michael gets better soon!
