Cashmere Mafia

The two are now trying to recruit a new trio of angels, whom Barrymore says should be “incredibly capable, but not take themselves too seriously. That’s a tough combination to find.”
McG adds, “This is a more progressive, 2010 take on the idea.”
They’re reportedly interested in keeping Lucy Liu as one of the angels, especially since the cancellation of Cashmere Mafia. “We want to be even more progressive in terms of racial background,” adds McG, whose ideal Angel is Rihanna. Drew might go a step further with Charlie’s first-ever gay male Angel! “Totally!” she says.
As for the voice of the boss, McG says his number one pick is John Forsythe, whom he says “would always be my first call.”
Every good TV series seems to get remade at some point! We don’t know if it could top the original though!

Lucy's reps have confirmed that she is negotiations to join the cast of Dirty Sexy Money. She will play an attorney on the dramedy only if Cashmere Mafia is canceled. Way to think outside the box! That's a hardworking girl if we've ever seen one!

Law & Order @ 10pm
McCoy (Sam Waterston) finds himself up against the thin blue line when evidence in the shooting death of a peaceful protester points to police. The brotherhood predictably bands together to protect their own and pushes back with accusations of a liberal agenda, creating a political nightmare for the new DA. If you think he will back down and cave to the pressure, you don't know Jack.
Cashmere Mafia @ 9pm
This Darren Star drama has struggled in the ratings, but those who have tuned in have probably appreciated the strong ensemble cast. So what are the ladies up to tonight? Well, Juliet braces for an ugly divorce, Mia searches her ex's apartment for a sex tape they made together, and Caitlin and Alicia talk about having a baby. There are also a couple of distinguished and omnipresent character actors in the guest cast: Jeffrey DeMunn (remember Dr. John Ringold in Phenomenon?) and Harris Yulin (who was Mel Bernstein in Brian De Palma's Scarface).
In Treatment @ 9:30 HBO
Therapy has been the last place surly Sophie has wanted to be, and Paul has done the best he can to cut through her petulance to form his professional opinion of her condition. Tonight, however, Sophie starts out in a playful mood, at one point even switching chairs with her doctor. Unfortunately, her upbeat manner is short-lived, and soon she begins to vent about her parents' breakup and Paul's evaluation of her. But most disturbing is her explanation of her relationship with her gymnastics coach.
Project Runway @ 10pm
The designers rumbled in the previous episode when they whipped up flamboyant attire for professional wrestling divas, and it was amiable Chris who pinned the rest with his winning leopard-skin hoodie number. Down for the count: Ricky, whose glorified bathing suit didn't make a splash with Heidi and Co. The show begins to sew up its enjoyable season — tonight the outfitters participate in the final challenge before the mighty Fashion Week showdown. Oh, and tonight it appears that Christian's arrogance becomes an issue (surprise, surprise).

Let’s admit it, ever since “Sex and The City” there haven’t been any new shows that represent the empowerment of women. Good news is for 2008 there are new TV show lineups that feature shows similar to the show that redefined women in the 21st century.
Shows such as “Lipstick Jungle” which will star Brooke Shields which follows three high-powered New Yorkers as they weather the ups and downs of their lives. If this doesn’t appeal to you, there is “Cashmere Mafia” and “The Return of Jezebel James” making its way to your tube.
Not sure if any of these shows will be a big hit, but one thing is for sure it will have a lot of girl power. Hopefully they will entail the same wardrobe provided on "Sex and the City". TV show executives should think about getting Patricia Field on the payroll.
