Casey Anthony to Be Released July 13th
Casey Anthony will have to spend a year in jail for each of the four charges against her. The judge is giving her credit for the time she already served. It's not exactly justice being served, but it's a little better than knowing she's popping champagne across the street.

Anthony was found not guilty on Tuesday of murdering her two-year-old daughter, but she was convicted of four misdemeanor counts of lying to law enforcement officers.

The judge, Belvin Perry, says he will work with defense attorneys to figure out what Anthony's jail sentence will be. While waiting, Anthony will return to jail. She will also be fined $4,000 for her total charges.

Anthony was all smiles when she walked into the courtroom before sentencing. She declined to make a statement before Judge Belvin decided on the sentencing.

The defense argued that the four charges against Anthony should be treated as one before the judge’s final sentencing. Anthony has spent 997 days in jail while awaiting trial.

CBS News reports that with the credit for time served and good behavior, Anthony is likely to be released on July 13th. According to Mark Lippman, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, the family has received death threats since Tuesday.

After the sentencing, protesters chanted "Justice for Caylee" outside the courthouse.
