The actor most recently starred in a Lifetime flick playing Drew Peterson, the man charged with the death of his ex-wife, so clearly Rob Lowe is King when it comes to TV movie adaptations of high-profile murder cases.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the Casey Anthony biopic has a working title of “Prosecuting Casey Anthony,” and will be told from the perspective of Jeff Ashton, Lowe’s character.

An online video diary of Casey Anthony has been leaked online, and in it she talks about everything from skyping to adopting a dog. PETA, if there was ever a time to do your thing, this is it.
NBC confirmed the identity of the woman in the video as Anthony, but Anthony’s criminal and civil attorneys have not responded to requests for comment. Anthony was found not guilty on Tuesday of murdering her two-year-old daughter, but she was convicted of four misdemeanor counts of lying to law enforcement officers.
The judge, Belvin Perry, says he will work...
