There are more details on the wedding between Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher! Us Magazine got the scoop from hotel sources at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greenboro, GA where the nuptials took place.
One server who worked the reception told the mag, “The wedding was gorgeous. "There was a lot of eating [and] a lot of drinking. It was a big party!"
The source added that the food was “a Southern flavor” and the cupcakes for dessert were “delicious.”
And despite the $500,000 bill at the end of the night, a hotel source says the event was anything but overdone. Rather, it was “down to earth…not really flashy.”
The guests had a great time, and insider say Carrie and Mike’s family and friends were “super friendly. No one had a trace of attitude,” added one. "It wasn't one of those crazy weddings you hear about in Hollywood," said another witness. "It was a nice party for a nice couple."
As for Carrie’s pre-ceremony pampering? She reportedly treated her wedding party to mani-pedis and a spa day at the hotel. "[Carrie] really wanted to make sure that her guests had a great time and were pampered while they were here," added a party source.
The girls all picked “romantic” and “classic” hairstyles for the big day. We’re dying to see the pics!
Carrie and Mike were spotted at LAX yesterday jetting off on their honeymoon to Bora Bora and Tahiti. Must be nice!
